Cronus

--

Cronus ruled the Golden Age

The Earth and the Whole Cosmos

Born of Gaia. Born a sage.

A Prophecy from Patmos

His reign would be cut short, ’twas said,

A son would be his death.

So Cronus ate his childrens’ heads

Then he spit out the rest.

Rhea would save his youngest.

Little Zeus, she hid away.

On Crete, he grew much stronger.

He prepared for just the day.

When Zeus could wait no longer.

Found his father and he made

Him disgorge all his siblings,

Overthrew him, unafraid.
